Happy New Year – Encouraging news for Convergences Journal in 2023

We wish you Happy New Year.

We are pleased to announce that on 22 December 2022, ANVUR (Agenzia Nazionale di Valutazione del Sistema Universitario e della Ricerca) of the "Ministerio dell'Università e della Ricerca" of Italy published the classification of publications, a guideline for the evaluation of teachers and researchers during 2021-2023.
Convergências Journal maintains an A rating, the highest rating in this ranking of international publications.   Also, in December 29, 2022, the Qualis Periodicals (Sucupira) publication ranking of the CAPES (Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior) a foundation of the Brazilian Ministry of Education, with the four-year evaluation results as B1. Before, Convergências was classified at B4 level in the quadrennium 2013-2016, by Qualis.
Although Qualis has increased the level of demand and changed the evaluation criteria of publications for 2017-2020, even so Convergências has risen to B1, which is quite positive.

Moreover, the issues from 2020 to 2022 and next issues are already included in SciELO Portugal, a collection under the tutelage of FCT: Foundation for Science and Technology, under the authority of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Higher Education (Portugal). 
We remind you that our inclusion in SciELO Portugal implied a change of procedures and rules for submission and publication in Convergências, which are monitored. Thank you all for this.
